Final Product /Installation grade: A Communication - pre-installation: C- - We were told that the job would start within 4-6 weeks. Actual time: 9 weeks. This was likely COVID-19 related, which is understandable. We started calling the office on week 5 to get an estimate on job start. We made 3 calls over a 10 day period and were finally were contacted with updated information a few days after the 3rd call. We eventually received a letter indicating a pushed-back start date, but this was well after we already knew this. - During the measurement phase, the foreman indicated that the existing wood soffits would be removed and replaced with their product. Additionally, the vents on either side of the attic would be covered up to allow for optimal air flow from the new soffit vents to the roof vent. Installation: A - I randomly asked the crew chief about the soffits. He said that their product would be placed directly over the existing wood soffits. We agreed to cut extra vents prior to installation. Also, the vents on either side of the attic were treated and left open/active, counter to what I had been told during the initial measurements of pre-installation. -+ The crew does do a great job of clean-up at job completion. For the majority of jobs, which may take 5 days or so, this would likely be perfectly fine as-is. Our particular installation took 2 weeks.
